Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programs educate volunteers about disaster pre-paredness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills. One of the aspects of disaster preparedness is understanding weather and how it can affect your daily life as well as disaster response operations. This will be an opportunity to receive invalu-able information about weather hazards, everything from the basics of weather formation up to weather safety and preparedness. This is an opportunity for open discussion and to ask questions with a trained Meteorologist!
