Location: Fort Belvoir Motorcycle Safety Center, 5801 18th Street, Fort Belvoir, VA  22060

The Fort Belvoir (and nearby) CERT TEAM(s) will be conducting a CERT Assessment and Communications Exercise (Landing Eagle) and are looking for many CERTs to participate.  This is a great opportunity to join a realistic and very different kind of CERT exercise.  Individuals and TEAMs are needed.
In preparation for the exercise, ALL participants will attend a table top exercise and planning session on 25 September 2018 at 1900 hours at the Fort Belvoir CERT Classroom ( in the Motorcycle Safety Center, Building 259); directions and access information will be provided to all participants.
The exercise itself will take place on Fort Belvoir on Sunday, October 7 from 1200 to approximately 1630.  For the exercise, CERT TEAMs will be deployed along with amateur radio operator to various housing villages (communities) on Fort Belvoir.  The TEAMs will conduct community assessments following the exercise disaster and treat victims and report findings of damage or hazards using a variety of reporting methods.  The exercise period will last under two hours.  A post exercise hot wash will be conducted to review and discuss the exercise performance. This exercise will provide a great opportunity for CERTs to demonstrate and experience many CERT skills.
