Drs. Cynthia Baur and Brown will be hosting a Clear Communication Training at the Maryland 4-H Center in College Park. Dr. Baur is the head of the Horowitz Center for Health LIteracy and the co-creator of the Clear Communication Index, an evidence-based tool used to help educators and researchers write public communication products. This includes fact sheets, research briefs and web-based documents for our clientele. The tool has been adapted to meet the needs of all extension educators. The trainings will be from 9:30-3:30 and will consist of the following: training on the tool, time to draft/write publications, follow-up editing by us within 30 days of the training. Both parking costs and lunch will be provided.
