Attendees will learn how to leverage their smartphone to collect and submit Community Assessment data through the Fairfax Alerts system. In this class the CERT Community Assessment program will be reviewed, followed by a demonstration and hands on training with the Fairfax Alerts system and your smartphone for capturing images, locations and descriptions of findings that are then shared electronically with the Fairfax County Emergency Operations Center. You must have completed the basic CERT class to take part in this program.
