Time: 7:00am-11:00am
Location: Dulles Airport, Airport Fire Station 304, 44210 Weather Service Road, Sterling, Viriginia 20166 (accessed off Route 606 and Thunder Road)
We have received a request from Marie Powell of the MWAA Fire & Rescue Dept at Dulles Airport asking for CERT volunteers to serve as patients/victims for an active shooter drill for their graduating recruit class, simulating a “day in the life” of an MWAA FRD first responder. Details are as follows:
Attire – Actors should wear old clothes that can be cut, torn, and dirtied with moulage. (Spare clothing may be provided by MWAA for the exercise; however, it’s best if you can provide your own.) Also, actors should wear a swimsuit and/or shorts/sports bra under their clothing in case clothing is cut off or removed during “treatment.” Actors will have the opportunity to change clothes after the exercise is complete, so a change of clothes is also recommended.
To register, actors must contact Marie Powell directly via email ([email protected]) or phone (703-732-3093).
