Fairfax County CERT open house (10-12-2018)

The annual Fire Station Open House, is part of Fire Prevention Week. This weekend we have the privilege of being invited into the fire houses – not only to engage with the public, but with the Fire and Rescue career and volunteer staff.   This is a unique opportunity to build trust and credibility within the Fire and Rescue community. Please consider volunteering and meeting Fire and Rescue staff in your community.
Fairfax County CERT will provide and staff an Outreach Booth at those Fire Stations that have invited CERT to be part of the annual Fire Station Open House event on Saturday October 13, 2018 from 10:00am – 16:00 hours (4:00pm) except for FS #422/Springfield which will run from 9:00am - 15:00 (3:00pm). An Outreach Booth with a table display of Fairfax County CERT outreach materials to include brochures, pamphlets, and leaflets will be set up to promote and educate the public about general preparedness, making Kits and to promote the CERT training opportunities.
