Ready Set Know (RSK) is part of the Burke Centre Festival (September 7-8), a free event that features Fairfax County Police, Fire & Rescue displays, emergency preparedness area, a huge Arts & Crafts Show, amusement rides and a wide variety of festival food vendors. Ready Set Know will be on is put on by the Fairfax County Citizens Corps Council (CCC) in conjunction with the Fairfax County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), Red Cross, Faith Communities In Action, Volunteer Fairfax and Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management, (OEM). The mission of this CCC team effort is to provide Fairfax County residents with an engaging opportunity to learn how to prepare for an emergency. There are many opportunities to volunteer for RSK.
