Greater Upper Marlboro CERT Team  - Schoolhouse Pond Clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.   As a team, Greater Upper Marlboro adopted the pond through the MNCPPC and twice a year conduct a cleanup.  In the past, Greater Upper Marlboro had lots of fun working together in partnership with the community and students seeking to obtain their community service hours.  Again, they need assistance from our CERT members to work with (supervise) students in two to four person teams and to staff our CERT emergency preparedness table.
Attire:  Dress for the weather. Should wear CERT shirt, bring gloves, boots, long pants, sun protection, bug repellant, and a huge smile!!!!!   There will be a safety briefing before starting.  We will bring extra gloves, should they be needed. 
Refreshments:  We will have bottle water and snacks available.
