The Search and Rescue in Community Disasters course is designed to provide training for community members to safely conduct search and light rescue response to aid their family and neighbors in the immediate aftermath of a natural disaster or man-made incident.
This course will draw information from a variety of disaster incidents (tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, man-made events) as examples for discussion. Hands-on training will be used demonstrate best practices for safe and effective search and light rescue in both commercial and residential environments.
