AAACERT Monthly Training
Clean solar power can now be used efficiently to provide a renewable power source for emergency power.  Improvements in solar panel and battery storage technology allow for the replacement or augmentation of generators and heavy iron power supplies with equipment that weighs 10% as much.  In addition, improvements to Electric Vehicles (EVs) provide great options for field use, reducing or eliminating the logistics associated with fuel resupply. Join us as Bob Bruninga discusses these emerging technologies and methods for harnessing solar as an alternative power source during emergencies and disasters. Free parking is available in the garage adjacent to OEM, a secure building, requiring someone to provide you access.  Doors open at 6:30pm.  Please try to arrive before 7:00pm.  If traffic or other circumstances delay your arrival, there is a call button next to the front door.
