Training Identification and Preparedness Planning (09-11-2018)

This course teaches participants how to identify a comprehensive training plan for their agencies and jurisdictions. Agencies that plan and train together are much better equipped to successfully respond together. In this course, participants learn a Jurisdiction Training Assessment Process in which an integrated assessment team uses the current District community profile and evaluates their department/agency’s abilities to meet and execute the roles and responsibilities listed in their emergency operation plan. Participants then identify and catalog training gaps and identify ways to close those gaps, by prioritizing training efforts, developing improvement plans, and implementing a course of action.
