The USNA is conducting its annual active assailant and mass casualty incident exercise on Wednesday, February 6th, and needs 50 volunteer actors.  The exercise will be conducted on the Naval Station Annapolis (NSA) side of the campus which is outside the gates, simplifying access and parking.
Volunteers need to arrive between 0700 and 0730 (coffee and donuts will be available).  The exercise starts at 0900 (shots fired).  An hour and a half is needed for the extensive moulage for so many volunteers.  Volunteers should wear clothes that can be best used for next Halloween's zombie apocalypse.
The exercise is in collaboration with AAMC and BWMC as the Navy Clinic will quickly be over capacity.  Volunteers will be transported to these hospitals via vans or ambo buses (or possibly ambulances).  Other than during transition to the vehicles, volunteers will be inside the buildings and warm.  There will be a storage area for outerwear.
Lunch will be served at both hospitals between 1200 and 1300 and volunteers should be back to their cars between 1400 and 1430.
This is a great opportunity to help the USNA, the Navy, and the area hospitals with a critical drill.  We know from the Capital shooting that anything is possible, even in Annapolis.
I know this is a workday for most, but please consider volunteering.  If you have any questions, let me know.  I am on the planning committee for the exercise.
Even though exercise is in early February, we need a commitment from volunteers by December 21.
