Volunteers for this exercise will serve as actors playing the role of passengers on a train that is stranded in the tunnel between Friendship Heights and Tenleytown Metro Stations. This exercise will provide the District of Columbia Fire/EMS Department and WMATA an opportunity to practice its response and evacuation operations for an incident involving a train stranded in a tunnel.
WMATA is trying to get up to 100 volunteers. Please note that volunteers must be at least 13 years old, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
